I’ve been a newborn photographer for quite some time now, and I’ve had the honor of photographing so many beautiful babies and meeting so many amazing families! While my sessions are very laid-back and relaxed, (if you’ve worked with me you know)I have come to have some guidelines. Things that help me and you and the session go so beautifully!
Simple, pure, timeless, and all about the baby! This is something that I truly believe in. I don’t like to use any props that would detour from noticing the baby or take away any beauty from the baby. Of course I have clients that bring in special heirlooms or sentimental things that mean something and that is so sweet to incorporate into the session. I love that!! I also love capturing all things baby. If it diminishes from the focus of the session, your baby, then it’s not getting in the picture.
I love, awake babies, crying babies, yawning babies, sneezing babies, sleepy babies, all of it! I follow what the baby wants or needs. The baby is in charge of the session. As a very seasoned experienced newborn photographer I know how to read these cues and I am able to photograph them as they are. While it takes a lot of experience and knowledge to handle a newborn especially for portraits as important as their newborn session, their needs are relatively simple.
Focusing on the delicate little small things and features of your newborn is something I love to capture. Things that you surprisingly will most likely forget, but by looking back at their pictures, it will come back into your memory ever so quickly and you will feel like jumping right back into that picture. That’s why I love what I do! I love, capturing the simplicity and the beautiful part of this new phase and chapter of your life with your newborn. I strive to do my very best. And I hope when you look back and remember this time you will be ever so grateful that you did a newborn session! ❤️Tiffany
